If you want to quantify the fleet size and squadron structure of nearly every type of Marine Corps aircraft in service, this graphic is your awesome go-to guide.

This in another great composite graphic by Contemporary Issues and Geography that offers a good overview of the makeup of America’s air arms. They recently released a US Navy version, so let’s hope for a USAF, Army and Coast Guard version soon. Even more challenging would be one depicting Russia’s and China’s always hard to pin down inventory and force structure!

You can download the full resolution version by going to CIG’s website here, and see a similar chart of the Navy’s active and reserve fleet vessels in this past Foxtrot Alpha post.
