Heroic Iraqi Helo Crew Saves Stranded Yazidis From Hell On Mt. Sinjar

In what continues to be a very desperate situation atop a mountain in NW Iraq, where close to 50k Yazidis are under siege by ISIS fighters, Iraq's small fleet of Mi-8 "Hips" has been at work trying to make an impact. A CNN crew flew along to see the crisis for themselves, and that they did, with the chopper saving dozens and coming under direct fire in the process.

This video speaks for itself. Iraq has become the horrific nightmare that many predicted it would be once we left in 2011. My full report on the air war over Iraq and its implications, or lack thereof, will be posted soon.
